Fraser Ford Driven To Help Northumberland Fare Share Food Banks

Northumberland Fare Share Food Banks appealed to the Northumberland community for support this season in a special "operations fund" drive - and the response to date has been tremendous. Local car dealership Fraser Ford came forward with a generous offer - the donation of a used van, provided to Northumberland's Fare Share Food Banks in order to simplify food collection and deliveries for volunteers. Until now, these volunteers have used their own vehicles to transport donations from collection points around the community to the banks. "It is our absolute pleasure to assist the Northumberland Food Share Program with the donation of this van," said Robert Fraser of Fraser Ford. "We are pleased to know that the van will be put to such good use delivering the much-needed food and nutrition to Northumberland's less fortunate families." Sign Design of Whitby has also "wrapped" the vehicle with distinctive artwork to identify it as belonging to Fare Share, as well as to visibly think the dealership for its generous sponsorship f the organization. Other major sponsors will also be acknowledged on the van. The wrap and Food Bank identity was designed by Art Director, Luke Despatie and his team from Limelight Advertising & Design. Herma's Fine Foods, Gifts & Catering came forward earlier this month with a generous donation of non-perishable items for the Fare Share Food Bank, which was gratefully accepted. Herma's also sponsored a special pre-Christmas program at the store ...
